Permitless Conceal Carry Bill Passes Kentucky House

first_imgMARCH 6TH, 2019 TYRONE MORRIS KENTUCKYA bill allowing for permitless carry in Kentucky has passed the House floor. The bill passed the House 60-37. Senate Bill 150 allows anyone 21 and older to carry a firearm without a permit. Supporters of the bill say the bill reinforces Kentuckians’ constitutional rights. However, the bill did not come without concerns or questions from opponents of the bill. Some opponents say it hurts what they believe is an epidemic of gun violence.The Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police opposed the bill, saying it doesn’t address safety concerns for police. Metallica Members Play National Anthem, Throw First Pitch At The San Francisco Giants’ “Metallica Night” [Video]

first_imgOn Friday, the San Francisco Giants celebrated their seventh annual “Metallica Night” at their home field, Oracle Park during a game against the New York Yankees. Metallica, a group of metal “giants” in their own right, has called San Francisco home for the majority of their decades-long career.The band was on hand to help celebrate the tradition. First, guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett took the pitchers mound clad in Giants jerseys to perform the traditional pre-game rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in instrumental metal fashion on gear decked out in Giants orange and black.
