Usain to Bolt down under after Olympics

The four-time Olympic gold medallist told Channel Nine, “I want to say to the Australian people I’m coming to vacation in September. Look out!” after his victory in the 100m at London. Australian states have begun vying for the Jamaican sprinter to visit their respective capital cities. Fiona Telford, a spokesperson for Victorian sports minister Hugh Delahunty’s said the state would welcome Bolt if he decided to travel south.“It would be great to have him here and Melbourne is amazing at that time of year with the Grand Final. It’s the best time of the year so I am sure he would really enjoy it,” Ms Telford said.“Obviously (the win) has just happened so we haven’t had any contact with him, but if he wants to come we would welcome him with open arms.” Collingwood president and Melbourne Stars president Eddie McGuire tried to lure Bolt to Australia to play in the Big Bash during an interview in recent months. Bolt, a talented junior cricketer said he would like to play with Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Olympic silver medallist, Yohan Blake said he may join his training partner in Australia next month.“Yeah, he wants to come to Australia to play cricket with Ricky Ponting and those guys,” he said.“My vacation is different. I don’t know what I am going to do, but I will probably come with him. I am a big fan (of Australian cricket).
