Sarath Kumara gets bail Sarath Weerawansa remanded

Meanwhile the Colombo Fort Magistrate ordered that Sarath Weerawansa, brother of former Minister Wimal Weerawansa be further remanded.Weerawansa was arrested recently over allegations he misused a Government vehicle when his brother was a Minister in the former Government. (Colombo Gazette) The Negombo High Court today granted bail to former Deputy Minister Sarath Kumara Gunaratne.Gunaratne was in remand custody after being arrested over an incident in 2002 in which a UNP supporter was killed.
